Arsenal fans make ‘ELITE’ Calafiori chant before transfer has been completed

ARSENAL fans have pulled out all the stops to bring Riccardo Calafiori to the Emirates after composing an elite chant BEFORE his transfer is even complete.

The Italian centre-back is set to join the Gunners for a fee expected to be worth a combined £42.1million.

Arsenal were reportedly able to stave off competition from Real Madrid and Juventus in order to land their man.

Calafiori has given Arsenal his word after an agreement over a fee was reached with Bologna.

The transfer has been held up by a row between the Serie A side and his former club Basel over a sell-on clause, though.

But Calafiori has now been honoured with a new song set to be chanted in the stands by Arsenal fans.

Gunners fans used the chorus of Dean Martin's 1953 iconic hit 'That's Amore', and it goes the tune of:

"When he plays at the back, he will stop your attack. Calafiori.

"(Repeat) Calafiori. He chose red over blue, plays for Mik and Edu. Calafiori."

Sporting director Edu Gaspar has been chasing the Italy star since January, but the move has entered its final stages this week, with the defender set to undergo a medical.

The 22-year-old centre-back put in some impressive displays in Serie A last season, making 30 appearances for Bologna, helping them qualify for the Champions League.

And it's safe to say footie fans absolutely LOVE the catchy chant.

Taking to X, one wrote: "This is ELITE" This has to be his main chant!"

A second said: "I love this! Already know he's going to be a favourite."

While a third declared: "What a BANGER! A class song."

Another added: "Best chant I've heard in years!"
