David Beckham has spoken of his excitement at returning to Old Trafford and playing under Sir Alex Ferguson in the Treble Reunion game.
It has been revealed that the former England captain will be joined by Class of '92 colleagues Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt for the charity game on May 26.
The United legends will play their Bayern Munich counterparts with all proceeds directed to the club's foundation.
'I'm so excited to be going back to Old Trafford in May,' Beckham told the club website.
'1999 was such a massive year for us so recreating that moment is going to be really special.
'To be back together as a squad and to be managed by the boss again is huge. Huge for us and for the fans; I can't wait.'
Now that the midfield has been revealed, all that remains is the strikers to be announced.
In defence both Phil and Gary Neville will combine with Denis Irwin and Jaap Stam playing in front of legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel.
The game will be played 20 years to the day that United won the Champions League at the Nou Camp against Bayern, adding to the Premier League and FA Cup titles.
The Manchester United Foundation will use the funds from the match to work with young people across Greater Manchester.
United's treble-winning season in 1998/99 is their most iconic in the club's history and no doubt supporters will turn up in their droves to see the legends and have a dose of nostalgia.
