With Carlo Ancelotti's men a difficult side to contain, Al Hain-Cole expects another entertaining Champions League night at Anfield for the Reds
Anfield will be hoping for another famous European night when Liverpool play host to Napoli in their final Champions League group game.
Three points adrift of the leaders and two points off second-placed Paris Saint-Germain, the Reds need to win either 1-0 or by two clear goals in order to guarantee progression to the knockout stages.
Having gone 10 home games without defeat in this competition, they are 4/7 (1.57) favourites with bet365 to secure a crucial three points here.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have only lost once in 17 matches in all competitions, and are available 15/4 (4.75) to silence the home crowd with a memorable victory.
The guests have drawn both of their away games so far in Group C, and are priced at 7/2 (4.50) to take their place in the last 16 by claiming a point in this one.
Sadio Mane is in line to start after returning to the bench in Saturday's 4-0 win over Bournemouth, while Dejan Lovren will also be hoping to recover from the head injury that saw him miss the trip to the south coast.
Alex Meret should return to the bench after making his debut against Frosinone at the weekend, while Faouzi Ghoulam also made his comeback from a year-long injury absence in that 4-0 win.
While a win with a clean sheet would see them through, it is hard to see Jurgen Klopp’s men keeping at bay a visiting attack that has scored 13 times in their last four games on the road.
They may therefore be reliant on their own formidable frontline, which has produced 31 goals in nine Champions League home matches under their German manager.
With another entertaining clash looking likely, odds of 13/10 (2.30) are well worth backing on over 3.5 goals being scored for Liverpool’s fourth successive home game in this competition, as well as Napoli’s third match in four.
