The deadline is just hours away and football supporters across the country are in fever pitch as they urge their clubs to make new signings.
With the summer transfer window set to slam shut on Thursday at 5pm, fans are hoping to see their club add the players they need for the season ahead.
And some supporters have been reacting to their team's transfer activity, or lack thereof, in hilarious ways as panic sets in ahead of the deadline.
Ipswich fan Luke issued a stark ultimatum to his club on Wednesday, tweeting a photo of his grandma trapped in a cage with the caption: 'I will not be letting my nan out until you sign a centre back.'
Fortunately for Luke's nan, Ipswich tweeted back: 'We don't condone this kind of thing at all, but it's time to let your nan out', shortly before announcing the signing of centre back Toto Nsiala from Shrewsbury.
Aston Villa supporter David Kenning meanwhile was left sore after Fulham hijacked his side's bid for Bristol City wing back Joe Bryan, using a niche Come Dine With Me reference to emphasise his point.
Kenning tweeted an image an infamous episode of the Channel 4 show, which saw a contestant rant bitterly after discovering they hadn't won the £1,000 prize, only with Villa boss Steve Bruce's face on the loser and Fulham's club badge on the winner
'You won Fulham. Enjoy Joe Bryan, I hope he makes you very happy,' Kenning's caption read. 'Dear Lord what a sad little life.
'You ruined our transfer window completely so you could have a new left back. I hope you use the play-off final winners' money to get some lessons on grace and decorum.'
