Borussia Dortmund are set to include 15-year-old goalscoring sensation Youssoufa Moukoko in their Champions League squad.
Although the starlet missed out on the initial 25-man squad submitted to UEFA last week, he remains eligible for inclusion in the B-list.
The B-list is reserved for young, homegrown talent, a category that the German youth international falls into.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc confirmed to Bild, via the Bundesliga website: 'Yes, it's true. We will register Youssoufa for the Champions League via the B-list.'
But Moukoko will have to wait until he is 16 before he can be selected, according to competition rules.
Moukoko, though, doesn't face a long wait. He will turn 16 on November 20 and will therefore be available for Dortmund's home game against Belgian champions Club Brugge just four days later.
If he features on November 24 he will become the youngest player in the competition's history, beating the record held by former Chelsea defender Celestine Babayaro.
The former Nigerian international was aged 16 years and 87 days when he played for Anderlecht against Steaua Bucharest back in 1994.
Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho and Co were drawn in Group F and will also face Lazio and Zenit St Petersburg, as well as Brugge, in this year's edition.
Moukoko, born in Cameroon, has been in incredible scoring form for Dortmund since he made his debut for the Under 17s at the age of just 12.
In 86 games, the German Under 20 striker has plundered a stunning 134 goals.
And it did not take him long to impress Haaland, 20, who admitted in August: 'I don't think I've ever seen a 15-year-old that good.
'He's a lot better than I was when I was 15.'
