What EFL is live on Sky Sports+ at 12.30pm on Saturday?
Sky Sports+ brings you seven live EFL games on Saturday, with build-up starting from 11am on Sky Sports Football ahead of the feature game: Stoke vs Hull City. You can also keep up with all the action on the EFL Goal Zone on Soccer Saturday from midday.
Stoke City returned to winning ways on Tuesday night with an emphatic victory over Charlton Athletic, and head into their 18th game of the season second in the table - albeit an almighty 10 points off runaway leaders Coventry.
They host a Hull City side who have dropped out of the top six after back-to-back defeats this week at QPR and then at home to Ipswich.
Sky Sports' Gary Weaver:
"Stoke returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Charlton, helped by two crossed goals from Sorba Thomas. Thomas is in sublime form, with 11 goal contributions in 17 league games, and he is performing strongly for both Stoke and Wales.
"For Hull, it has been a tough week, with defeats to QPR and Ipswich. They competed well for long spells, but the concern is clear: they had the worst xG against in the league going into midweek, and they are allowing opponents too many shots. Injuries and suspensions have not helped, with Oli McBurnie, Liam Millar, Matt Crooks, and John Lundstram all missing recently, though some may return on Saturday."
Leicester City start the weekend in the bottom half of the table after a pretty dismal midweek defeat at Southampton. They will be aiming to rally at home against a Sheffield United side that have won back-to-back games. They began the weekend outside the bottom three for just the second time all season.
Portsmouth were on the wrong end of the Blades on Wednesday night, and will be hoping to bounce back when they host a Bristol City side who also lost in midweek at Wrexham.
Monday night football at St Andrew's
Monday night Football has a Championship feel to it as Birmingham City face Watford at St Andrew's. Both have enjoyed upturns of late, battled back to earn draws in midweek, and are among the pack fighting to squeeze their way into the play-off places.
Sky Sports' Gary Weaver:
"Birmingham's draw against West Brom was a good point considering they were not at their best. The transformation in their form generally has been swift. When they faced Wrexham at the end of October, Davies was under scrutiny, and even the owner was seen among the away fans. Those days feel distant now. Birmingham are winning games, scoring goals and thriving at home.
"From the outside looking in, it appears that Watford may be on the verge of something positive under Javi Gracia as he settles back into the role. They showed great character to come from behind to win at Derby, and then again to earn a draw against Preston."
