England stars at all levels are set to battle it out in a FIFA 20 tournament to raise awareness for the National Emergencies Trust amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Footballers across England are continuing to help out in the fight against the coronavirus crisis - with it being announced on Wednesday that Premier League stars have united to form a playerstogether initiative to raise vital charitable funds.

And now the Three Lions are playing their part by launching a FIFA 20 tournament - which has been named the #FootballsStayingHome Cup - to help the National Emergencies Trust.

The competition is set to get underway on Good Friday at 5pm GMT and will be broadcast live on England's official Twitter and Youtube Channels.

There are 16 players expected to take part in the tournament that will finish next week, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham, James Maddison and Callum Wilson.

Lionesses trio Lucy Bronze, Jordan Nobbs and Ellie Roebuck are also getting involved in the FIFA tournament.

Furthermore, Under 21 stars Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah, Ryan Sessegnon, Todd Cantwell and Max Aaarons make up the rest of the names participating.

The Football Association announced that viewers of the gaming tournament will be able to donate to and support the National Emergencies Trust.

The National Emergencies Trust works with charities to raise and distribute funds and supports victims during the time of a domestic disaster.
