Maurizio Sarri is confident that Gonzalo Higuain will be fit for Chelsea's Premier League clash with Everton on Sunday.
The Argentina international has scored three goals since arriving at Stamford Bridge and has quickly established himself as Sarri's first-choice striker ahead of Olivier Giroud.
But Higuain did not travel to Ukraine this week for Chelsea's Europa League clash with Dynamo Kyiv as he was suffering from an illness.
Giroud scored a hat-trick in Higuain's absence as Chelsea ran out comfortable 5-0 winners.
But Higuain is in line to return as Chelsea travel to Goodison Park on Sunday.
Asked by Chelsea TV if Higuain will be available for the trip to Everton, Sarri replied: ‘I think so he had a stomach ache and a fever ‘But no injury so I think and I hope he will be available.’ Eden Hazard is set to return to the starting line-up after he was an unused substitute against Dynamo Kyiv.
