Arsenal produced 'the worst-executed offside trap of all-time' for Everton goal

Arsenal produced the worst-executed offside trap ever seen just one minute into their Premier League game against Everton at the Emirates this afternoon.

The Gunners backline stood on the edge of the 18-yard box from an Everton free-kick but left-back Sead Kolasinac did not get the memo and ended up much deeper than everyone else by stupidly deciding to follow the run of Yerry Mina, who was then played onside.

Gylfi Sigurdsson whipped the free-kick into the box and the ball would eventually end up in the path for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who produced an exquisite overhead kick finish to fire the visitors in front.

Kolasinac's nightmare first half saw him forced off with what looked like a collarbone injury and replaced by Bukayo Saka.

The youngster made a near-instant impact by floating in a glorious cross for Eddie Nketiah to level matters, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed the turnaround when he darted in behind the Toffees backline and confidently finished past Jordan Pickford.

Richarlison pulled Everton level in stoppage time at the end of the first half but just 30 seconds in to the second half they were behind again when Aubameyang notched his second.
