Now, according to Caught Offside, Chelsea have made an ‘official enquiry’ regarding the Argentinian’s availability.
It’s understood that the Premier League side recognise Paz’s market value could reach over €100 million in the coming years and are hoping to pounce on a potential deal.
Any move will hinge on Real Madrid, however, with the Spanish giants said to have a €9 million buy-back option next summer.
