On August 8th, Coventry City officially announced that the club has signed 20-year-old Ghanaian international midfielder Caleb Jellinki from FC Nordsjaelland. According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer fee is €30 million.

Coventry City Football Club is delighted to announce that Caleb Jellinki has completed his signing, agreeing to a long-term contract. The deal will officially take effect upon approval of international transfer clearance.
The talented midfielder joins the club from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Jellinki recently represented the Ghanaian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, playing alongside Asante, and scored the winning goal against Panama.
The 20-year-old has earned 15 caps for the Ghanaian national team thanks to his outstanding performances at club level.
A product of the Right to Dream academy, he joined FC Nordsjaelland in 2024 and made his first-team debut in September of that year at age 18.
He quickly established himself as a first-team regular. In the 2025-26 season, Jellinki made 34 appearances, helping FC Nordsjaelland secure third place in the Danish Superliga and qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Following the season, he received individual accolades: he was named the Danish Superliga Young Player of the Year and was included in the Superliga Team of the Season.
