Diogo Dalot has revealed that his favourite memory as a Manchester United player so far is the historic Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain last season.

Dalot has only been at Old Trafford for a season-and-a-half but has already played his part in one of United's most memorable nights on the European stage.

After being outclassed by PSG in the first leg of the last-16 tie, United needed a miracle in Paris to advance to the quarter-finals and quickly raced into a 2-1 lead on the night courtesy of a Romelu Lukaku double.

It left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side needing just a single goal to go ahead on away goals and after a nervy second-half they got it in the final moments as Marcus Rashford scored a last gasp penalty.

It was a night that will last long in the memory for all United fans and something that Dalot will never forget.

The Portuguese held a fan Q&A on Twitter and one supporter asked: What's your most amazing memory in the United shirt?"

"This night," Dalot replied with a love heart emoji and a photo of the wild celebrations after the goal went in.

Dalot had a big part to play in the remarkable victory as it was speculative shot from distance which led to United winning the controversial penalty, when the referee adjudged it to have hit Prensel Kimpembe's arm.

The 21-year-old has also revealed what was going through his mind when he hit that faithful shot.

"'This is going to be the goal of my career'," he said with laughing crying emojis.
