The difference between the two leagues is simple the CLS is a league that is gaining prominence and its governing body has invested a whole lot into it. Over the years the CLS has been thus far successful in luring players (Oscar, Carassco, Hulk, Igahlo , Teves, Lavezzi.. etc) from all over the world with huge and mind blowing wages.
The MLS on the other hand has maintained it's status quo. Over the years it has remained silent and it hasn't really done much to try to lure big names players. However, until very recently players who are in their retirement age (Kaka, Pirlo, Bastin, Drogba, David Vila, Obafemi Martins etc) are know to go to the MLS for one last huge paycheck.
In summary, I think the MLS is a more competitive league between the two leagues bkos the money power in the CLS cannot give balance between clubs which are always richer than the other, in other words, richer Clubs are likely to be better than poor ones .
No.. It cant be.. First of all most of the players don't like to play in asian conditions.. Secondly there is not much popularity of asian football among the Europeans or evn in asia.. Like us in india we follow European leagues more than asian leagues.. Thirdly most of the players like usa conditions and living styles so they prefer to stay there when they r older to enjoy their outdoor lives..
And fourthly major leagues teams r owned by most of the celebrities or companies which r well known all over the world and csl lack that kind of personalities.. Fifthly its a difficult task to learn Chinese and adapt to its culture where they don't need to adjust or learn new languages.. These r the reasons why players prefer major league over Chinese league..
