John Stones and Jesse Lingard spend time with talented chimp

John Stones and Jesse Lingard have spent time with a talented chimp during a visit to the zoo as the pair continue to enjoy their holiday in Dubai.

Both are currently absent from England duty with Stones pulling out of Gareth Southgate's squad for the games against the Czech Republic and Montenegro with a groin problem.

Lingard, meanwhile, was deemed unfit to play for the Three Lions before being rushed back by Manchester United for their FA Cup defeat against Wolves just days later.

Both appear to be in high spirits as they continue their recovery though and spent their Saturday enjoying a visit to the local zoo.

After walking around the park and spotting several different animals, the pair were treated to some time with a skillful chimp inside a tent.

Both players greeted the chimp with a friendly pat on the back before it then perched on a stool and had some food.

The chimp went on to perform a host of tricks for them and the others involved on a central stage. It spun around several times before appearing to dance.

It then cosied up to Lingard on the sofa and smiled on queue as it posed for a picture with the midfield ace. The United star, dressed in a white thawb, then kissed it on the lips before the chimp got down onto the floor.

Lingard initially suffered an injury in the Champions League last-16 first-leg defeat by Paris Saint-Germain in February before returning to play in the Old Trafford clash with Liverpool on February 24.
