Ronald Koeman said his Holland players took a huge step when they beat France on Friday night.

They will claim another big scalp on Monday night should they beat already relegated Germany in Group A1 in the Nations League.

Koeman's players certainly looked relaxed in training on Sunday afternoon as they prepared for the fixture in Gelsenkirchen.

Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk was among those in the light session at the end of the weekend.

Holland will top the group and qualify for next summer's Nations League finals should they beat Germany.

Koeman praised his players after Friday's win and expects his side to maintain a similarly high level on Monday.

He said: 'This was a complete match at the very highest level.

'I was not expecting a perfect match from our side but that's really what it was. We were very, very good.

'I was surprised by the France line-up and the way they played, but our match was perfect. We dominated the match for 90 minutes.

'I also did not expect that this team would be as far in their reading of a match. We have shown on such a night that we have made enormous steps. From the beginning to the end we played really well.'
