Liverpool are ahead of Chelsea in the race to sign 15-year-old Exeter midfielder Ben Chrisene.

The talented midfielder made his debut for the League Two side against Coventry in the Carabao Cup in August, becoming the club's youngest ever player.

Southampton and Bayern Munich have also been linked with Chrisene according to the Sun.

Chelsea invited Chrisene to their training ground after Chrisene's Carabao Cup appearance.

Exeter are willing to cooperate as long as they collect a decent fee.

The Blues are currently under a transfer ban but hope to have it lifted in January.

In becoming Exeter's youngest ever player, Chrisene surpassed the previous record set by Ethan Ampadu, who is now a Chelsea player.

Ampadu, who has played 12 times for Chelsea, is currently on loan at RB Leipzig in a bid to gain more first-team experience.
