The isolation of Isco at Real Madrid has been one of the stories of the La Liga season.
New boss Santiago Solari has given the Spanish international a bit-part role in their revival and has been linked with a summer exit.
Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester City have been said to be on red alert regarding Isco's situation as his run without a league start under Solari extends beyond the three month mark.
According to Calcio Mercato , the fractured relationship between the player and coach is now "at an all-time low" and club bosses will face a choice between the pair in the summer.
They report that Los Blancos will consider selling the 26-year-old if they decide to retains Solari as manager having realised the pair will not be able to work together.
Isco penned a long-term deal at the Bernabeu before Solari took charge, with his current deal lasting until 2022.
His contract includes a huge €700m, although if they decide to move on from the former Malaga man they will agree to part with him for significantly less.
Serie A leaders Juventus are also said to be interested in handing Isco an escape route if Real Madrid opt to let him go.
