Arsenal's Mariona Caldentey has been named the Women's Super League Player of the Season at the inaugural Women's Professional Game Awards on Sunday.
The event was organised by the Women's Professional Leagues Limited and is the first of its kind to honour those in the WSL and Women's Championship.
Awards were voted for by the Football Writers' Association and Football Supporters' Association, with midfielder Caldentey the first-ever recipient of the main prize.
The Spain international has enjoyed an impressive season in which she played in 21 of Arsenal's 22 league games, scoring nine goals, outperforming her expected goals (xG) by 2.69, and assisting five.

Caldentey's most recent goal came on the final day of the season in a 4-3 victory over Manchester United, in which she finished the season with six goals in her final 10 league appearances.
Having joined from Barcelona in July last year, she quickly established herself and played more minutes (1,774) than any other Arsenal player, while she also ranks second for big chances created in the WSL (13), behind team-mate Katie McCabe (16).
Additionally, the 29-year-old has impressed in Europe, having netted seven times in Arsenal's run to the final, where they will face Barcelona on May 24.
Elsewhere at the awards ceremony, Manchester City's Vivianne Miedema won Goal of the Season for her effort against Aston Villa, while West Ham United's Shekira Martinez won the Rising Star award after 10 goals in 12 appearances.
She finished joint-second in the Golden Boot race behind Alessia Russo and Khadija Shaw, who both netted 12 goals this term.
