Paul Pogba 's response to Real Madrid question

Paul Pogba was asked about a potential move to Real Madrid.

United were beaten 1-0 by the La Liga leaders in the first leg of their quarter-final at Old Trafford.

Pogba performed reasonably well but was not at his best amid speculation over a summer switch to the Bernabeu.

The Frenchman had previously admitted it would be a "dream" to play for Real, while Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of his interest.

He was asked about his future following the loss at Old Trafford but gave very little away.

Asked about possibly taking on Barca in the Clasico, Pogba told El Chiringuito TV : "When we play the Champions League it’s always nice to play against Barca, it’s a dream for anyone."

Pushed on wearing the Real shirt, he added: "I won’t answer that. I will only speak about the game, nothing else."

Pogba is believed to be on Zidane's wishlist as he plots a summer revamp of his Real squad.

The United midfielder is one of a number of targets, alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Christian Eriksen.

Speaking on his countryman recently, Zidane said: "He brings so much and there are few players who bring as much as he does."

"He's a midfielder who knows how to defend and how to attack.

"But he is not my player, he is at Manchester.

"He has always said that, after Manchester, Madrid has always interested him. So when his experience at Manchester ends, why not come here to Madrid?"
