Rating the difficulty of Milan's last three games before the Christmas

Following the important win at Parma, AC Milan are gearing up to face Bologna away from home tomorrow. For Stefano Pioli's men, it will be important to finish strong ahead of the Christmas break.

The Rossoneri are currently sitting in 11th place with just 17 points after 14 points. In other words, they are in need of a few wins to gain confidence. The Parma win certainly helped enough, but it's far from enough.

Ahead of the Christmas break, there are just three games left for Milan. In order to stay within reach of a top-four finish, they will have to do well in all of these games. Down below is our rating of the difficulty of each game.

Bologna (5.5/10): Based on recent years, the Rossoneri shouldn't have too many problems with the Renato side. However, it doesn't really work to use stats from previous campaigns, especially this season. In any case, a win should be relatively easy to get.

Sassuolo (6/10): Unlike the Bologna game, this will be played at the San Siro. In spite of this, it's more difficult, as Sassuolo have proved that they can compete in the tough games. Just last round, they drew 2-2 away at Juventus.

Atalanta (8.5/10): Away from home and against a team that usually are very hard to beat, especially at their stadium. Milan have done it before, but their current form doesn't really help their case that much.

In essence, it will depend a lot on the two games before. Should the Rossoneri perform well, claim six points and gain confidence, then they certainly have a chance against the Bergamo side.
