Solskjaer pumped up as Manchester United stars train

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer oversaw Manchester United training on Monday morning ahead of their clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Norwegian will be hoping to become the first caretaker manager of a club to win the Champions League this season since Roberto Di Matteo managed the feat with Chelsea in 2012.

United's players will be hoping to do better in the competition this season, having been knocked out by Sevilla at the last-16 stage last campaign.

The Old Trafford side will be looking to carry the momentum of their 3-0 win against Fulham into the game at home on Tuesday evening.

There was a slight blow as Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian were both absent when United trained.

Solskjaer revealed last week that the pair are facing a spell on the sidelines with minor injuries.

The Norwegian otherwise has no injury concerns before Tuesday's match at Old Trafford.

Victor Lindelof, who missed the game at Fulham, was involved in the session at Carrington on Monday morning.

Marcus Rashford, who is in excellent goalscoring form, Paul Pogba and Juan Mata could all be seen during training.

Pogba could also been seen carrying out a cheeky backheel as he showed off his talent on the training field.

Jesse Lingard walked alongside his good friend Rashford as they prepared for training on a chilly day in Manchester.

Anthony Martial, who has been restored to the side under Solskjaer, was at the centre of a group of players during the session.

United are looking to extend their unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho.
