Conte: Getafe have made big teams suffer, Inter know it'll be a dirty game

Antonio Conte isn't expecting an easy ride when his Inter side come up against Getafe on Wednesday.

The Nerazzurri coach has seen enough of Getafe to know that they'll have to be ready for a battle, and that they won't have everything their own way.

"We're facing a tough opponent," Conte said on Tuesday.

"We know it will be a dirty match.

"We've studied them and have seen that they made a lot of LaLiga [Santander]'s big sides suffer, which says a lot about them.

"We know it'll be difficult, but we'll have to show that we want to progress."

The Italian was quick to play down talk of his side winning the competition outright.

"Winning tomorrow will help," he said.

"There's not much more to say.

"Wins bring confidence and authority, but it's not easy.

"If you win it's because you've reached a good level on all levels, as individuals and as a collective."

Inter finished just one point behind Juventus in Serie A, which Conte believes shows their progress.

"The team finished with the number of points we deserved," he added.

"But I think in some cases we've gotten less than we deserved.

"Finishing with 82 points is a sign of a good season and a lot of progress.

"Now we can play in the Europa League. We're ready, but we know it'll be a rough game."
