Inter Milan ready to make another move for Modric (Sport)

Inter Milan have not thrown in the towel and are ready to make another move for Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.

The Italian club still want to sign the Croatian international and have made his agents aware that they remain interested after failing to do a deal in the summer.

Madrid were unwilling to sell Modric at the time having just lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

Florentino Perez, angry with Modric, who wanted to leave, refused to let him go, aruing that Inter wanted "to take Modric without paying."

We will see what happens in January with the player, who has been criticised in some quarters for his post-World cup form in Madrid.

However, he has a contract until 2020 (when he will be nearly 36) and a release clause of 750 million euros, so Madrid have the power.
