Barcelona president Laporta is planning to honour club legend Lionel Messi with a statue at the new "Spotify Camp Nou" stadium.
"Leo Messi deserves to have a statue in the new stadium."
"We will prepare a design, talk to the family and, if they agree, we can proceed with the project," Laporta said.
