Barcelona welcome Getafe to the Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon and this will see Quique Setien go up against Jose Bordalas, who he has quite a history with.
Their initial disagreement stemmed from when Setien was Lugo coach and Bordalas worked with Alcorcon, with Setien's team losing 1-0 with the coach saying he didn't like Alcorcon's players wasting time and that they didn't deserve to win.
They've since had further conflicts as their careers have progressed, but Setien is hoping to put that in the past.
"On the subject of Bordalas, I have forgotten it and I won't talk about this issue," Setien explained in his pre-match press conference.
"He has been proving his work is very good for a long time.
"He has a plan that has improved the team a lot and it got them into Europe.
"He is very committed and his team are difficult to beat, it will be a difficult game."
Rey Manaj has been included in the squad to face Getafe and this will go down as one of the more surprising moves of the Spanish coach's tenure thus far.
Injuries have decimated the Cules' forward line and, as the club continue to look for an emergency signing, the 22-year-old will be given a chance to show his ability if required from the bench.
"He is a player with very clear talents," Setien said.
"At any given moment he can bring us something, that's why I've selected him.
"We now have a replacement in that position if something should happen.
"This is why he is with us, but we haven't seen much of him because he's only been with us a short time and there are things he must understand."
Barcelona were reported to have made an initial offer of 15 million euros for Loren Moron earlier in the week, however Setien was quick to shut down any transfer speculation.
"I don't know anything, I'm only going to talk about the players that are here," he said.
"I have nothing else to say.
"What I have done all my life has been to adapt to what I have.
"If they give us permission to sign a player then we will find a solution.
"Ousmane Dembele's injury disrupted us, but we'll work out a plan."
