Andreazzoli: 'Feels like a win'

Aurelio Andreazzoli said Empoli’s 3-3 draw away to fellow relegation battlers Frosinone “feels like a victory.”

The Tuscans were ultimately content to leave the Stadio Benito Stirpe with a point, having gone behind early doors to a Matias Silvestre own goal, turned it around to lead 2-1, fallen behind 3-2 and eventually equalised with a Salih Ucan volley.

“At the end of the day, the result must always be accepted as the correct outcome,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We didn’t do badly in the first 25 minutes, even if we were a little tense. The team emerged and relied on its football philosophy to keep going.

“In terms of fitness and physicality, we held out well against Frosinone too. It’s a positive result, but feels like a victory.”
