Arsenal transfer gossip: Two Porto players linked and Ramsey's Juve twist

He may have dropped a bomb on their transfer window plans, but that certainly hasn't stopped Arsenal looking for players.

Manager Unai Emery's confession has thrown doubt over a number of targets.

He says there's no money to spend on players - a bit of a problem, that.

Now they're looking for bargain basement signings to fill the gaps.

The Gunners boss is looking for help all over the pitch and that has seen them linked with a high number of players already this window.

But what will the latest revelation do to his plans?

Here's what's caught our eye...

Ramsey twist?

Arsenal fans probably just want it done, but there's been another Aaron Ramsey twist.

Juventus boss Max Allegri has suggested the Italian champions do not need him.

“I can already rely on five top midfielders. They are so good that I need nobody," Allegri said.

He was expected to sign a pre-contract agreement next week but doubt has been cast over the move.

Everton also in the running for Yac

Arsenal as we know are weighing up a move for Porto star Yacine Brahimi.

But Premier League rivals Everton are also keen - and they could offer a higher wage.

A free agent in the summer, Brahimi, 28, is keeping his options open.

Another Porto plot?

The Gunners are not just looking at one Porto man, but two.

Reports from Tutto Mercato Web in Italy suggest Hector Herrera is also a target for Unai Emery.

Roma, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves have also been linked with the midfielder.
