Cagliari have confirmed that midfielder Nahitan Nandez will miss Uruguay's games against Hungary and Argentina because of a thigh injury.
The Uruguayan limped off in the first half during Cagliari's 5-2 over Fiorentina on Sunday.
Now, the club have given confirmation on their official site that Nandez suffered a hamstring strain in his right leg.
The 23-year-ol will now stay in Sardinia for observation and further evaluation of his injury.
Nandez joined the Rossoblu from Boca Juniors over the summer as a replacement for Nicolo Barella.
He has played in all of their 12 Serie A games so far this season, helping them into the top four.
He's played in every game so far this season since joining from Boca Juniors in the summer for a reported €16m.
