Nani has jokingly claimed he taught Cristiano Ronaldo everything he knows during their time together with Manchester United and the Portugal national team.

The 33-year-old winger, who now plies his trade with MLS side Orlando City, reflected on partnership with Ronaldo while selecting his dream five-a-side team.

Nani played alongside Ronaldo during two highly successful seasons at Old Trafford from 2007 to 2009, and the Juventus man has been named in the dream team.

In an interview with Major League Soccer, Nani said: 'Cristiano Ronaldo with all of his skills, fast feet. He learned a lot from me in the youth, he knows, he knows.'

The 35-year-old forward has won the Ballon d'Or five times and lifted 11 trophies during six seasons in England.

He scored 118 goals in 292 appearances after signing from Sporting Lisbon in 2003.

Nani, who also began his career at Sporting, picked United heroes David de Gea and Paul Scholes in his team along with Bruno Alves and Deco.

'David De Gea, for me one of the best in the world and a good friend of mine.

'But he must bring his glasses with him because he can't see anything without them. It's true.'

The Spaniard has kept 108 clean sheets in 304 top flight appearances.

Speaking about the decision to include Scholes, Nani said:  'Great control of the ball, great vision.'

The midfielder netted 107 goals and produced 55 assists in 499 Premier League games for the Red Devils.
