Beppe Iachini insists Fiorentina have been playing well, but need ‘more luck and precision’ in front of goal against Hellas Verona.

It kicks off on Sunday at 18.30 UK time (17.30 GMT), click here for a match preview.

“This will certainly be a difficult game, as they all have been since the restart,” said the coach on the official Viola website.

“We are preparing, although there are always unknowns in these situations. We’re missing the support of our fans, but we must do well to keep the focus up for the full 95 minutes.

“Fiorentina are one of the teams with more shots on goal than any other at the moment, hitting the woodwork five times in the last five games, so we hope to have a little more luck and precision next time.

“Christian Kouame is recovering from a serious injury and we hope he can give his contribution in the final weeks of this season. Franck Ribery is in good shape and you struggle to leave out someone with his experience, ability and quality on the ball. We should have more points, but need to be more clinical in front of goal to make those chances count.”

Hellas Verona are in the fight for a Europa League spot and came back from a goal down to hold Inter 2-2 midweek.

“Verona like to press you high up the field and create one-on-one situations all over the pitch,” added Iachini.

“We’ve got to be quicker with getting away from markers and recognising their movements early.”
