Lippi potentially replacing Agnelli?

  /  autty

Juventus patron Andrea Agnelli remains in charge despite the Super League controversy, but Marcello Lippi has been mentioned as a possible replacement.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the breakaway project has undermined the relations of the Juventus club with the institutions: from FIFA to UEFA and up to the Lega Serie A.

The newspaper claims chief of Exor and stakeholder in Juventus John Elkann, above all, will have to carefully evaluate what to do for the near future and therefore also the position of patron Andrea Agnelli.

Should the Juventus President step down from his role, the newspaper reveals the current Vice-President of Exor Alessandro Nasi has been mentioned to replace his cousin Agnelli.

Then there is Evelina Christillin, just re-elected to the FIFA Council and therefore a perfect figure for dialogue with the international insistutions.

But there’s also a different scenario, with a President of football extraction like former Italy and Juventus coach Marcello Lippi could be.

The discussion continues, but the newspaper claims Agnelli will remain President of Juventus for now, but that the issue will be addressed from May and onwards.
