Mario Mandzukic’s agents have flown to Qatar for talks with Al-Rayyan amid reports the negotiations with Juventus have stalled.
The Croatia international is not on Juve’s Champions League squad list and is again left out of today’s Serie A match with Hellas Verona.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the player had agreed a two-year contract worth €7.5m per season.
However, doubts set in over the last few days, with the player unconvinced by the temporary training camp they are operating in during the renovation process.
Another problem is that Al-Rayyan are not prepared to pay the €10m transfer fee that Juventus are asking for.
His agents have therefore flown to Qatar for face-to-face negotiations in the hope they can break the deadlock.
