Probable line-ups: Roma vs. Atalanta

  /  autty

Roma have Lorenzo Pellegrini back from suspension, while Atalanta could start with Josip Ilicic in attack.

The match at the Olimpico kicks off at 17.30 UK time.

Roma are looking for points to close the gap up to Napoli and Lazio, who clash at the Stadio Diego Maradona at 19.45 UK time tonight.

Atalanta, however, are motivated by the possibility of leapfrogging both Juventus and Milan in the table and climb to second in Serie A.

The Giallorossi are expected to start with Pau Lopez in goal, whilst Gianluca Mancini returns to his place in the back-three.

Rick Karsdorp and Riccardo Calafiori are expected out wide, whilst Pedro Rodriguez is out injured.

Coach Paulo Fonseca has captain Pellegrini back from suspension and will most likely pair him with Henrikh Mkhitaryan behind striker Edin Dzeko.

Atalanta were boosted by the 1-0 win over Juventus last time and have the chance to climb to second, as Milan were beaten 2-1 by Sassuolo last night.

Cristian Romero returns from suspension and will be back in the line-up at the Olimpico. Joakim Maehle and Robin Gosens will most likely play out wide, with Ilicic expected to get the nod.

Duvan Zapata should start up front, with Luis Muriel possibly entering during the game.

Atalanta (probable): Gollini; Toloi, Romero, Palomino; Maehle, De Roon, Freuler, Gosens; Ilicic, Pessina; Zapata
