SPAL President Simone Colombarini confirmed Napoli and Lazio showed interest in signing Manuel Lazzari, but “nothing has been finalised.”
Lazzari has spent the past six seasons with the Biancazzurri, working his way up through the divisions with the Spallini.
“He’s a very good player and is ready to play for a big team, but nothing has been finalised with Napoli or with anyone else for that matter,” Colombarini told CalcioNapoli24.
“We’ll see what happens in June. We’re not in the position to stop any of our players leaving for a bigger team. Lazio have also shown an interest in him.”
The 25-year-old has played 27 times this season and won his first cap for the national team under Roberto Mancini in a match against Portugal in the UEFA Nations League.
