San Siro shot-stoppers Handanovic & Donnarumma

While Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is the second top shot-stopper in Serie A this season, his Milan counterpart Gianluigi Donnarumma is statistically the worst.

Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuain will battle it out in attack and be in individual duels with their opposition ‘keepers.

In this scenario, it’s worth looking at not so much the clean sheets – of which Milan have zero this season compared to Inter’s three – but the number of goals that were avoided.

Sampdoria’s Italy Under-21 international Emil Audero has the highest save percentage in the top flight with 87 per cent, followed by Handanovic on 79 per cent.

The Slovenian made 23 saves and conceded six goals in eight games.

However, Donnarumma is rock bottom in Serie A this season, parrying 14 chances, conceding 10 and giving him a save percentage of just 57 per cent.

That means if you take a shot against Donnarumma in the Milan goal, you have almost a one in two chance of scoring.
