Milan left-back Theo Hernandez could receive a call-up from France for Euro 2020, according to the latest reports.
The 23-year-old has joint Spanish and French citizenship, but has always said he wants to play for Les Bleus and represented them at various youth levels.
He is yet to receive his senior cap for France and that might be about to change following a season at San Siro with eight goals and seven assists in 43 competitive matches.
According to RMC Sport, coach Didier Deschamps is considering Theo Hernandez in his expanded Euro 2020 squad for this summer.
The group has been expanded from 23 players to 26 considering the pandemic and potential injuries.
Theo Hernandez is competing with his brother, Bayern Munich player Lucas, as well as Everton’s Lucas Digne.
He could get a step up if Real Madrid man Ferland Mendy is ruled out by injury.
