Luis Muriel was sent off for criticising ref Matteo Marcenaro at the end of Atalanta's defeat to Sassuolo.
Marcenaro had already dismissed Atalanta fullback Jakub Maehle in the first-half after reversing his decision via VAR.
In injury-time, Sky Italia's reports Muriel saying: “You are bad at this."
Marcenaro immediately flashed the red card and told him to leave the field.
Muriel then declared: “What? I can't even say you are bad at this? Am I supposed to congratulate you after that performance?"
