FIFA has announced the US cities that will host next summer’s Club World Cup, which will feature 32 teams for the first time.
FIFA has announced the 12 host stadiums for the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States - the first edition of the global club tournament’s expanded, 32-team format.
Which cities have been chosen for the 2025 CWC?
The competition is to be held in Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando (two stadiums), New York-New Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle and Washington, DC. World soccer’s governing body had initially planned to use fewer venues but finally opted to extend its list of host arenas after reaching agreements with a number of additional cities.
MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, has been chosen as the venue for the final - having also been selected to stage the trophy decider in the national-team World Cup in 2026.
The 2025 Club World Cup is to begin on Sunday June 15, with the final scheduled for Sunday July 13.

FIFA favours East over West
Most of the Club World Cup host cities - eight out of 12 - are on the east coast. This, in no small part, is a scheduling decision: games played in the Eastern Time zone are significantly more convenient for Europe-based television viewers than those held on the West Coast. FIFA is mindful that this is a key consideration when it comes to selling the TV rights on the Old Continent.
