Gianluca Zambrotta has hailed Gennaro Gattuso’s work as Milan Coach. “I know he’s the first to arrive and last to leave.”
Gattuso has managed to not only stabilise Milan but also have them competing in Europe since taking over from Vincenzo Montella last year, prompting praise from his former Rossoneri teammate.
“I know Gattuso is the first to arrive at Milanello and the last to leave,” the ex-Inter wingback told Milan TV.
“He watches videos with his staff so he can see what can be improved and study opponents. He’s right on cue and he has all the characteristics to coach a team like Milan well.
“His training sessions are very intense and then keeps the players on the ball mentally so they’re always focused on the next game.
“That’s important. After that, he has ideas, which can be seen during games and have yielded some great results.”
