In the coming months it will become clearer as to whether Ivan Perisic will have a future with Bayern Munich past the end of this season according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The 31-year-old winger is currently on loan at the reigning Bundesliga champions, who have an option to turn his stay into a permanent one for a sum of €20 million at the end of the season.

It is currently uncertain as to whether or not the Bavaria based club will take up this option with Perisic currently sidelined with an ankle injury which is expected to keep him out for at least another month.

A decision is unlikely to be made until mid-May when Bayern Munich are likely to appoint a permanent manager who will ultimately decide whether he sees Perisic as a player he wants or not.

Perisic has made 22 appearances across all competitions for the Allianz Arena side in which he has scored five goals and tallied eight assists.
