Sergino Dest's future at Barcelona is hanging in the balance as Xavi Hernandez is looking to sell the American full-back, though the player is keen to stay at the Camp Nou.
Despite interest from Bayern Munich and Chelsea, Dest is committed to staying at the Camp Nou this season and worming his way into Xavi's team.
The USMNT star has not been helped by injuries and COVID-19 which has ruled him out of the majority of games since Xavi took charge from previous boss Ronald Koeman.
Nevertheless, Xavi seems to have no place for Dest in his side, but the 21-year-old is adamant he wants to stay with the Catalan club.
Bayern's 25 million euro bid has been rejected by the Spanish giants, despite their desperate financial situation, but it is likely that Dest himself would have said no to the move anyway.
He hasn't featured since December 4, 2021 in any competition and has only played 16 times this season, which is far less than he anticipated, but Dest still believes he can add something and turn things around at Barcelona.
