Lazio’s exploits have caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, as L’Equipe claims they want Simone Inzaghi, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Adam Marusic.
The Aquile are the only club able to consistently win silverware during the eight-season Juventus domination of Serie A, in the last few months winning the Coppa Italia, the Italian Super Cup and currently sitting in second place, one point behind the Bianconeri.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, PSG director Leonardo is so impressed by their achievements that he wants to transplant some of their core figures – including coach Inzaghi – to Parc des Princes.
The deal for Inzaghi, midfielder Milinkovic-Savic and winger Adam Marusic would be worth over €100m.
Inzaghi is known for his 3-5-2 formation, but has only ever worked as a coach with Lazio, getting the main job initially as a caretaker with promotion from the youth team.
