Liverpool starlets Sepp van den Berg and Ki-Jana Hoever are due to sign long-term contracts soon.

According to The Times, van den Berg and Hoever will sign long-term extensions when they turn 18. They will be able to sign professional deals with improved terms to keep them at Liverpool for the foreseeable future.

Both players are highly-rated by Liverpool. The Dutch duo have both impressed at youth level and made their debuts for Liverpool's first-team recently.

Hoever caught the eye last season, playing for Liverpool in the FA Cup against Wolves. This season, he made his second Liverpool appearance, scoring a header against MK Dons in the EFL Cup. He operates at centre-back or right-back and recently impressed at the U17 World Cup.

Liverpool also signed another young Dutchman in the summer – van den Berg. The teenager had already played for PEC Zwolle. Since moving to Liverpool, he has played twice – both in the EFL Cup.

The Reds are prepared to give these two long-term deals on their respective 18th birthdays. Hoever turns 18 in mid-January while van den Berg's birthday is just before Christmas.
