Ole Gunnar Solskjaer secured his place in the hearts of every Manchester United fan with a certain goal on May 26, 1999.
But their love for the baby-faced Norwegian has reached new heights since he came in as interim manager and completely transformed United's fortunes this season.
Two decades ago, when Solskjaer won United the Champions League and the Treble in the Nou Camp, fans paid tribute with the classic 'You are my Solskjaer, my only Solskjaer' chant.
Now he has been immortalised in song once again and it's one that has proved immensely popular with United's support in the last couple of months.
The 'Ole's at the Wheel' song, to the tune of Waterfall by the Stone Roses, was first aired at United's home matches over Christmas and then during their win over Newcastle United at St James' Park.
And as United have continued to win matches under Solskjaer, the renditions have only got louder and louder.
On Monday night, 'Ole's at the wheel' was belted out by nearly 6,000 travelling United fans at Stamford Bridge for most of the second-half as United beat Chelsea 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The superb rendition was captured on social media videos and drowned out the moans and groans of the home fans, who were calling for Maurizio Sarri to get the boot.
This browser does not support the video element.
Fans of rebel club FC United of Manchester, formed in protest at the Glazer family takeover at Old Trafford, were the first to put football lyrics to the tune of Waterfall a few years ago.
And it's now been adapted to suit the buoyant mood at United, starting with the lyrics 'Ole's at the wheel, tell me how does it feel.'
It then continues to pay tribute to some current members of the team: 'We've got Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Fred/Marcus Rashford is Manc born and bred.'
The chant then breaks into the riff from the Stone Roses song before finishing: 'The greatest of English football/We've won it all.'
It mimics the second verse of the original song, which has the lyrics: 'Now you're at the wheel/Tell me how, how does it feel?'/So good to have equalized/To lift up the lids of your eyes.'
The original, from the Stone Roses' eponymous first album, was released as a single in 1991 and reached No 27 in the UK chart.
Solskjaer has now won 11 of 13 matches since taking over as interim manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December.
He remains unbeaten domestically, with United's 2-0 home loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week the only slip-up so far.
United have been drawn away to Wolves in the FA Cup quarter-finals but before that, Solskjaer will turn his attention to Sunday's crunch Premier League game with Liverpool at Old Trafford.

There is absolutely no doubt that Manchester United will be back to being a laughing stock by the end of March. They will get beat off liverpool, Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Manchester City in the league as well as getting knocked out the champions league by PSG and the FA Cup by wolves. It will certainly be funny seeing listening to all their delusional fans shouting for Ole to get sacked then.
hmmn, what? i don't here you'd

It's great to see a manager working with the players and squad he has. I don't think Mourinho did that. He just wanted to buy a team. Solskjaer has learnt from Sir Alex. He did the same at Aberdeen. Wish all managers would do it.

They still need an entire new back four, an out-and-our wide player and a defensive midfielder

Bit ironic the they have robbed it from the 'real' United fans from their spin off club FC United - I've started watching some step 6 football recently and am enjoying it far more than the Premier League stuff - great atmosphere, drums and music, and real passion from the players - decent football as well to be fair!

May seem bias just like everyone else saying their fans are the best, but United away from home are second to none.

He's just following in the footsteps of greatness, the footsteps of the best ever manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, Solskjaer will take this club to greater heights, just wait and see, he got a better start to managerial life than Sir Alex, it only shows how much better he could get
