Inter have officially sold Zinho Vanheusden to Standard Liege for €12.5m, although they do have the right to purchase him back until 2021.
The Belgian defender turns 20 next month and already spent this season at the club on loan.
He scored two goals and provided one assist in 30 competitive games for Standard Liege.
Vanheusden came up through the Standard academy until 2015, when he joined the Inter youth system.
“Proud to be a player of the club I love the most,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
“Ready to have a big season together!”

It's not about selling youngsters, its the fact Standard Liege spent 25 million on them which seems odd

We'll have to return the favour later, probably by buying them back. Unfortunately we've had to make this sort of deals before.

Yeah it just seems like a big gamble, even though they are talented.

Pretty much this. I would also add that Zinho proved to be very good in Belgium but noone knows if in Italy he would still be on that level

Vanheusden has world class potential, Emmers not so much.

They don't need to sell anyone. Djenepo brought in 20m, and technically Standard only has to pay 12.6m

Amazing signing! But it's a financial construction: Milan can buy him back for 18.5M. But Inter just needed the money rn for FFP

Confusing inter with Milan is embarrassing and I can't take anyone who does it seriously

I'm a Belgian, it was mentioned as this construction in our newspapers and news sites. If you like it or not, that's what the belgian press is saying about the signing.
