On this day in 2004, Jose Mourinho led FC Porto to win their second European title after beating Monaco 3-0 in Gelsenkirchen. It was the first European trophy of The Special One's career.
In that season's Champions League, Porto miraculously defeated Man Utd in the round of 16, and then eliminated Lyon and La Coruna.

i did watch this game it was fantastic to watch i was supporting Monaco coz of Morientes , he was my favorite back then and Porto knocked Man u 2-0 in semifinal both goals scored by Ben Mac cathy so i was upset with Porto, but to say the truth their squad was tough to brake at that time .
