Discipline is what turns talent into success. There isn’t much worse than unrealized potential. It takes discipline to bring talent to life and realize full potential. I know many talented people who lack discipline and as a result, they are unfaithful and undependable. If a football player possesses discipline, then he or she can excel with any talent because they will be dedicated to perfecting, processing, and improving the talent. Regardless of anyone’s talent, a present person with an average talent is always better than an absent person with a dynamic gift.
A talent is enhanced and nurtured with discipline without discipline your talent is half- baked . There are footballers who have troubles in finding their gifts but through committing to something, with discipline they later found their passion in life

you can’t separate the two, they are both needed but of the worst comes and you need to choose one, then I would rather go with discipline than talent, take Baloteli as an example,he has talent but lacks discipline,he begun well with big clubs but now he can’t even afford to play for a top European club

both are important actually, discipline without talent is like a racing car without the best engine, you can put as much gas in it but it won't go fast cause it was not build to. talent without discipline is like the car without the driver, a good engine but no one to steer it int the right direction

Obviously Talent... You can learn to be disciplined but can't learn to be talented.Of course without talent you need discipline as well but people are being somehow hippocrates . Ronaldo and Messi can be the most disciplined in the world if they want to but if they are not talented they won't be anything we talk about them today.Balontelli has disciplinary issues but no matter what he is still Super Mario meaning he needs to be disciplined to be better but he's good. But without the talent and being disciplined is ...U get me.Dont be hippocrates. If so there so many disciplined people who wish to be something else like musicians, footballers and just because they are disciplined they would have them achieved but no,thats not their talents.

I'll say discipline in football is more important than talent. but we noticed that the most disciplined players are always hardly recognized or are so at the end of their careers like Philip lahm, Andres Iniesta and Xavi and you can help me list a lot more. discipline is a very important aspect of the game. it benefits nothing to have talent and be hated by fellow players for your behavior and even FIFA administratives must like you. we can see a lot of talents that fell apart for their bad discipline. no doubt the first on my list will be baloteli. even dembele caused himself some trouble because he was already getting out of discipline. talent is the second important but I believe if you are not a disciplined player your talent is almost or completely useless

To choose with ease, let's look at it from this perspective: TALENT is like a beautifully, strongly build car with state of the art technology meant to ply any road while
DISCIPLINE is like a very competent and experience driver responsible for manoeuvring that car through all sorts of roads including the rough ones.
The same can be said of players and coaches as to which is more influential in getting good results.
Obviously, without a good coach to direct the players talents, results will be bad likewise without discipline talent cannot be nurtured into excellence. Undiciplined talent kills talent or shortens its life span as illustrated by Ronaldinho and Balletoli careers.
Discipline is more important than talent though the latter is also very important. No challenge can be overcome without a good dose of discipline. Even successful thieves observe alot of discipline.

If u don't have the talent no matter how u struggle with discipline u can never beat somebody embodied with massive talent. A good example of this was Ronaldinho even though it cause him to an early exit in the world elites football he still proved u need talent before discipline comes next.

For a football player, its Talent because players like Pepe, Ramos, Zlatan and Suarez remained on top despite their bad disciplinary records. It is well known that discipline is the most important element of a person as a human but as a footballer, you can stay on top with only talent.
