Victor Osimhen links up with Nigerian music star in Napoli

Napoli star Victor Osimhen was all smiles as he welcomed Nigerian music star Mayorkun to Napoli for the first time.

Napoli star Victor Osimhen continues to be a shining light on and off the pitch.

The 24-year-old Super Eagles of Nigeria striker is currently wanted by a host of elite clubs this summer with speculation surrounding his future constantly increasing.

Osimhen has been in blistering form for the runaway Serie A league leaders who look set to win their first Scudetto since 1990.

Osimhen who currently leads the Serie A goalscoring charts has netted 21 times in 26 appearances while creating 4 assists so far this campaign.

Victor Osimhen and Mayorkun link up in Napoli

The Napoli superstar forward was recently spotted with Nigerian music star Mayorkun in Italy, after the latter made his way to Naples for the first time.

Mayorkun who is a known supporter of Premier League club Manchester United took to social media to share photos with the Serie A striker who is currently linked with a move to the Premier League as well.

Mayorkun, who is know for a number of Afropop hit songs like, 'Mama', 'Certified Loner', 'Holy Father', amongst others posted photos with Osimhen via his official Instagram page on Wednesday night, with a caption that read: ‘My first time in Naples & @victorosimhen9 made sure I had a good time.. Big love my brother! Keep smashing in those goals. ❤️🤞🏾’.

Osimhen then responded to the post in the comments section with a message that read: ‘The MAYOR himself!!!!❤️good to see you my brother✊🏽’.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen is expected to return to action for Napoli on Thursday night, May 4, when they travel to play Udinese in Serie A.

Osimhen has a chance to make history tonight as a win for Napoli will finally crown them the deserved Scudetto champions for the first time since 1990.
