It’s not surprise if VVD chosen to leave for Saudi, especially with a big money contract as claimed, tabled for him. Everything will have an end and it might not be a bad thing. It took a season and a half for Klopp to bring in the first silverware and it is expected Slot have to take some time to do the same. Respect VVD’s decision. Overall, the career life of an athlete is very limit, it really depend on what really he is looking for and want to achieve.  It might be  a new era for Slot, after all, it really needs something new to the Reds, particularly, when entering into a new generation.
