Former Manchester United defender Paul McGrath sought the help of his followers on Twitter as he looks to find his missing son.

The Irishman is 'very concerned' that he is unable to track down son Paul Jr and he hopes raising awareness on Twitter can aid the search.
In his post on Twitter, 59-year-old McGrath confirmed the police have been informed but any help from his followers would be welcomed.

McGrath wrote: 'Please retweet. Looking for social media help please.
'Has anyone seen my son Paul in around Hale, Manchester, London or any airports in the past few days? Police have been informed but we are very concerned and someone somewhere might have spotted him #thankyou'
The tweet quickly gained traction online and was retweeted more than 17,000 times.
McGrath spent seven years with United where he went on to make 203 appearances, scoring 16 goals
He also went on to lift the FA Cup under Ron Atkinson in 1985.
